Through interviews with experts, the documentary describes personality away from the romantic myth he has been awarded and faces some controversial aspects of his life, spent in a socially and politically turbulent times. But at the same time puts him in the literary context necessary to highlight its importance as one of the most prolific authors of his time renovating. Filmed in Madrid, Zaragoza and Sevilla, is produced by Olmo Figueredo Gonzalez-Quevedo, La Slate PC, co-produced by TVE and Canal History, and sponsored by the Biblioteca Virtual de Andalucía.
